News update from Srirangam Periyashramam

His Holiness Sri RangaRamanuja Mahadesikan's 26th Chaturmasya Sankalpam has just been

 completed and H H has reached Thenbirai , near Mannargudifor Uththanam. Today Aavani 

Pooarattathi Vazhuthur Andavan and Therazhundur Andavan Tirunakshatrams were 

celebrated at Thenpirai. Thenbirai Andavan,Sri Ranganatha Mahadesikan's Tirunakshatram 

also comes off on Aavani Revathi, on 11th Sept. at his birth place itself.

During his stay in Periyashramam in Srirangam, H H found time in the early mornings to make 

a walk around Gho Saalai, located at the nearby Chinna Ashramam , to see by Himself the 

health and living conditions of nearly 75 cows with calves are protected there. From there H.H. 

proceeds to River Vada Tirukkaveri ( Kollidam ), for Snaanam. It is nice to see that this year 

there is flow of water in the river.
