Thanian's Greatness (Part III)

Sri ‘Ramanuja Daya Pathram’ Thanian is like our Mother! This is a perfect salutary verse that could give us everything as blessed by Sri Alwars to every living being on the Ubhaya Viboothi.

Leaving Sri ‘Ramanuja Daya Pathram’ Thanian, we all shall desire nothing else on this Materialistic world.

This Thanian is a rakshai for all of us and the twin anugraham as invoked through the starting Thirunamam including both Sri Bashyakar and Sri Appullar is a greatest blessing that any Sri Vaishnava could attain!

‘Ramanuja Daya Pathram’ doesn’t contain ‘Sri’ explicitly. This is because, the ‘Sri’ that any Prapanna shall desire is only ‘Sri Ramanuja Sri’. For a prapanna ‘Sri’ and ‘Ramanusa’ are one and the same.

Here Sri Parakala Swamy makes it explicit that, how ‘Prapanna’ have ‘Sri Ramanusa Nootranthai’ as ‘Prapanna Gayathri’, he/she has ‘Ramanuja Daya Pathram’ as ‘Prapanna-Rakshai’ bearing the name of our Jagadhacharya in the beginning as the ‘Sri’ aksharam!

After Swami Sri Desikar's ascendance to Paramapadam, NayinArAcAryAr and Brahma Tantra Swatantra Jeeyar Swami toured all over India. During their tours they established Swami Sri Desikan's Dhivya Mangala Vigrahas in many temples.

(We see these Vighrahas to this day even if the sampradayam has changed hands.)

Finally, Sri NayinArAcAryAr arrived in Sri Rangam and stayed there instructing sishyas in Sri Bhashyam. One Panguni Uttiram day, after Thirumanjanam when Namperumal and Sri Ranganachchiyar were together in sErththi, Sri NayinArAcAryAr and Brahma Tantra Swatantra Jeeyar Swami rendered the following two soul stirring songs from Amruta Swathini (#9 and #31):
