Srimath Andavan could not be seen at this time as I did not want to disturb him at that time standing for a photograph with his thrithandam.

Srimushnam Andavan meets Poundarikapuram Andavan

I am pleased to present you a very important event in Munithraya Sampradayam, which happened on 23rd June, 2012, in Srirangam. Srirangam Srimath Andavan arrived Periyashramam on the evening of 22nd June for a camp of 4days. His Holiness was met by Poudarikapuram Ashramam Karyasthars and expressed the wish of Srimath Poudarikapuram Andavan, Srimath Raghuveera Mahadesikan to meet him on that day. Srimushnam Andavan knows very well that Srimath Poundarikapuram Andavan would like to take a long walk from His Ashramam to Periyashramam, which is more than a kilometer away and that too in hot sun and bad road, at his age of 82. He sent a word through them, that he will not stand on prestige, but would like Himself to pay a visit to Poundaikapuram Ashramam and meet H.H. Srimath Raghuveera Mahadesikan.

Accordingly, Srimushnam Andavan arrived there that evening and spent nearly 90 minutes with Srimath Raguveera Mahadesikan. They were to gether and exchanged many matters of mutual interest. Many devotees were very much pleased to see both Acharyas together and paid their respects and obtained Manthradchadai from both H.H.s. Both Acharyans exchanged Sambavanais

Kanchipuram Andavan Ashramam Report

Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Venugopalan Sannathi, Srimath Therazhundur Andavan Sannathi cum Brindavanam were successfully performed at Kanchipuram Srimath Andavan Ashramam. This was done on Thursday, 14th June,2012This is a complete renovation work and the entire complex with the adjacent new building for Veda Patasala sports a very new look. The Maha Saprokshanam was done as per the niyamanam of Srimath Andavan.Yaga salai started one day before. Sri Raja Bhattar Pradhana Archakar of Sri Deva Perumal sannathi conducted the two day proceedings. Veda Divya Prabanda parayanams were also held for 3 sessions. Besides the Perumal and Therazhundur Andavan, Srimath Aakkoor Andavan Uthsava Vigraham also installed here. At this Samprokshanam instance His Holiness consecrated new panchaloka Vigrahams of several other Acharyas.

Kanchipuram Ashramam Sri Venugopalan Sannathi and Srimath Therazhundur Andavan's Sannathi had their Maha Samprokshanam on 14th June, 2012. Just previous day, Perumal and Acharyans had their Tirumanjanams and this is a set of pictures taken on the evening of 13th June, 2012 . The entire old ceiling has been reinforced and made all weather proof coverings.. Recently Kanchipuram Andavan Ashramam has undergone big face lifts. A new Ashramam complex has come up replacing the old tiled structure. The new complex will henceforth receive DivyaDesa Perumals, when they come to Sri Rangaraja veedhi, during their uthsva purappadus.. In the new building Sri Vaikunta Natha perumal visited recently. Our Ashramam's target is to receive Sri Deva Perumal during his next visit to the road in which our Ashramam is located.

The other facelift activity is renovation of the old building in which there is a Venugopala Perumal Sannathi, Sri Therazhundur Andavan Brindavanam, Acharyan's padukas sannathi. All these are now fully rebuilt under the guidance and supervision of our Ashramam devotee and Trustee Sri K S Ramabadran, to whom Srimath Andavan entrusted Alwarpet Ashramam Perumal Koil as well as Velamur Rajagopurama and other works.

Srimath Andavan is fully satisfied with the completion of the work at Kanchipuram and has fixed 14th June,2012 forMaha Samprokshanam of Perumal Sannathi as well as Prokshnam of Acharyan renovated Brindavanam..The entire responsibility is entrusted to Sri Deva Perumal Sannathi Sri Rajam Bhattar. he has accepted Srimath Anadavn's niyamanam and has given the following schedule.

Villivakkam Perumal Koil-- An appeal and also an update

The work of renovation of the entire temple is going on at a fast space. Koil madappalli is fully renovated and balalayam uthsava vigrahams are located there and regular aaraadanams are being done. Sthapathi's work on manadapams are over, vigrahams are getting placed in their positions. The next phase of work is plumbing and electrical wiring. after completing all these granite slabs laying work for the entire floor area as well as garbagriham are to be taken up.

We will keep you all updated on the progress. It is the desire of Srimath Andavan , to perform the Samprokshanam at the earliest. Towards this we seek the support of all of you . In this connection, I am attaching with this the special appeal, made both in Tamil and English. I have given the bank details for direct bank transfer and also a special note to overseas residents.
