At Villivakkam Sri Rama Bhakta Anjaneyar Tirukkoil is now popularly known as Sri Padmavathy Sametha Sri Srinivasa Perumal Tirukkoil ad belongs to our Ashramam. Here on last Saturday, at Punarvasu Nakshatram, Sri Rama Navami festival was celebrated with all enthusiasm and sveral local residents enjoyed watching the festival both in the morning and in the evning. In the morning visesha Tirumanjanam was done for Sri Seetha, Lakshmana Sametha Sri Ramachandra moorthy, Saathumurai and ghoshti was carried out in the end.Several residents enthusiastically contributed as ubayadarars.
This was followed in the evening by Dolothsavam for Sri Seetha, Lakshmana and Anjaneyar Sametha Sri Ramachandra Moorthy. Many youngsters guided by local Music teachers gave a music performance in praise of Lord Sri Rama. This was followed by the routine Vishnu sahasranama Paarayanam, then evening Sathumurai and ghoshti prasada distribution..
